Forever 21 celebrated the grand opening Dec. 26, 2010, of its largest Hawaii store, at 42,520 square feet in the Royal Hawaiian Center.

There were 800 people in a line that snaked to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel for the occasion. The lure? Four-hundred gift cards valued at $10 to $210 that awaited the first 400 in line for trendy, youth-oriented designs.

The flagship store  is also home to more of Forever21's brand labels, including Heritage 1981, 21 Men, Love 21 Contemporary, and Faith21 geared toward plus-size individuals.
